a decade

Today is our 10th anniversary...
Time has flown by.  It doesn't seem like 10 years have passed.  A lot has happened in that time...loved ones passing and new life being brought into our family.  I'm so grateful for the life that God has laid out before me.  JT & I met in high school, so we've been a couple for a little over 17 years now.  We really did grow up together and have had LOTS of ups and downs!  I pulled out our wedding album and it was so fun to go through all the pictures.  My pictures are not on a cd and the video is not on a dvd...instead, it's on vhs.  I had to take pictures of the pictures for this...guess I should probably have that converted over!

our invitation...the pressed flowers are still really pretty!  I loved this bed & breakfast...We wanted to go to Santa Fe for the wedding, but the logistics were a nightmare.  La Casita did not feel like we were in Amarillo...except that it was crazy HOT that day.

This my friends is the crown jewel of all the bargains that I've ever found!  I knew this was the dress I wanted and when I went dress shopping in Dallas with Becca & Jill, I found it on the bargain rack outside for $50...FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!

I love you John Thomas Petersen.  You have given me two of the best gifts that this girl could have ever asked for.  I anxiously wait to see what the Lord has for us...
