Well...I'm only 2 months late on writing about Easter. Oops! The boys (& I) used crayons on the eggs while they were still hot and the wax melts beautifully.
We all went to church on Saturday night thinking that we would miss the crowd on Sunday morning...WRONG!!! It was the most crowded service, but oh how I love church on Easter! So full of power and joy...
I taught Sunday school on Easter morning and the boys stayed home with JT. Sunday was such a relaxed, fun day. We had a picnic lunch on the front yard:
Then the boys shed their shoes for a little water time and fun:
While Grey napped that afternoon, Parker and I made Resurrection Rolls. They were DELICIOUS and such a super illustration of the meaning of Easter. They will definitely become a tradition around here.
The boys got to wash Daddy's truck in the driveway...
Late that afternoon, it was time for dinner and egg hunting at Bee & Poppy's.
I love, love, loved spending Easter this way...so relaxed and fun!
