Parker started 1st grade this week.
He wasn't super excited about it. When JT asked him why, he said, "Well, are you excited to go to work?" Who can argue with that?? I knew that meeting his teacher and seeing his class would relieve some of his worries.
I have prayed much & often for him to be placed in a class where he is nurtured and loved and given the opportunity to takes chances. As a parent, my heart longs for him to be surrounded by children who love Jesus and are sweet and innocent...
In the little devotional book that I read in the mornings, this was part of one of the entries this week...
So appropriately timed. Thank you, Lord, for your gentle reminders to me that you've got it all under control.
