Just before Halloween, we went to Dalhart to the HCC for the fall cattle branding. Other than my family, the Carter's are some of my favorite people on this earth! JT went to school and got into too much trouble with Matt. They have matching tattoos to prove it! HA! Cy and I went to school together...his wife and little girl are precious beyond words. Their brother, Ben, his wife Liz, and their baby girl Mary are such precious friends to us. Liz is a heart friend and Mary has a SERIOUS crush on Parker...
We are pretty sure that Parker could live on the ranch in Dalhart and NEVER miss the "city" one day. Ike is his amigo and after praying for his family at night, he always tells God thank you for the Carter's...each one by name. That fall day that we got to spend with them was good for the soul!

After lunch, Parker helped the men doctor the cows. Then the boys rode "drove" tractors and rode a horse...which was the highlight of their year!
