if you could bottle a smell

This morning on K-Love, they were asking this question:  "If you could bottle any smell in the world, what would it be?"
One man said that he spent a lot of time traveling for work, so he would bottle the smell of his family.  A woman said that when her son went to boot camp, she slept in his bed for a couple of weeks because it smelled like him.
I love the smell of rain and candle company's have certainly tried to capture that, but I haven't found one that really matches it.  When the boys were babies, I loved to smell their sweet little baby breath.  And when they would wake up in the morning, I loved to breath in deep when I picked them up out of their crib.  I've discovered the spice Cardamom recently...YUM!  I wish that I could find a cardamom candle.  I wore a certain perfume on our wedding day, and the company has since quit  making it.  I'd really love to have more of that.  But really, if I could only choose ONE scent to bottle up and keep, it would be my Granny's smell.  I loved her so so dearly.  She had such a lasting impact on me.  We spent a lot of time together.  I spent the night with her so much when I was little.  Her neighbor downstairs in the apartments always had fresh baked cookies and we would walk over to Sam Houston park to listen to whatever concert was playing at the gazebo.  Precious time.  When I was older, she came to our house a lot and we went to her apartment just as much.  When she got sick, my mom and I took turns spending the night with her...back to our slumber party days, just not quite as much action.  I could go on and on and on...
This is a picture of her and my dad...in a picture frame that my grandpa made.  I double heart love it...

One of my most prized possessions (other than my family, of course) is her recipe box.  Cards full of her writing.  But the best part about it, is that when I open it, I smell her.  And my mind races back to our time together.  So, I don't open it very often...I want that smell to last as long as possible.

What would you bottle up?
